Our Programs
Supporting Girls’ Education
In 2025, TEMBO is sponsoring 172 girls as they take the next big step in their education — secondary school.
Each girl receives the essentials she needs to succeed (uniform, bedding and learning materials) as well as ongoing mentorship and encouragement, helping every girl stay motivated and in school.
Before starting secondary school, the girls attend PASS (Primary and Academic Success) — a 10-week program that builds study skills, confidence, and readiness for
the challenges ahead. During the long school holiday in June, all TEMBO girls participate in TEC (TEMBO English Camp), a 3-week learning experience led by local teachers to strengthen their English and review challenging school topics.
Together, these programs give girls in Longido the tools, knowledge, and confidence to thrive — in school and beyond.
